First there is the shocking news that P.I.P implants were passed as 'medical grade' when they were not, the regulators failing to spot industrial-grade silicone was in use. They could be piping 3-in1 into Grannie's hip replacement for all we or they know.
Second : it's a known fact that implants often leak, yet still women are allowed to have the op because a 'consultant' deems their low self-esteem worth the risk
Third : Nearly 50,000 British women have had breast augmentation with P.I.P implants alone.
So the jury is in, Mr Dobson and Norris both found guilty.
Dobson and Norris found guilty, apparently though this is the second time that both of the men have been tried for the same crime. Seems to me they didn't like the first verdict...
Anyhow no doubt the verdict will be a great relief to the Lawrence family, I hope they can find comfort moving on with their lives now.
The makers of a "non-blinding" laser claims an unnamed UK police force is set to trial the weapon as a means of "controlling riots." According to the manufacturer - who developed the weapon for use against pirates in Somalia - the laser can "temporarily" blind its victims at 500m. It is meant to provide "an intimidating visual deterrent" because "If you can't look at something you can't attack it."
There are blindness weapon protocols whose definition of blindness "is where your eyesight goes worse than 20/200, meaning you can't see the *largest* letter in a Snellen chart when looking at it with *both* eyes."
So that means that this weapon will not fall foul of international law if it (merely) reduced your vision to the point where you were impaired but not legally blind, permanently.
